Kids are getting wiser

It wasn't long ago (ok, maybe 15 years or so) & kids would wear what their parents told them to wear - basically they did as they were told....didn't they? These days our kids are much more streetwise with the advent of internet and 1000's of TV channels to choose from. Dress code is now more important than ever & if your kids aren't wearing, for example, French Connection Kids Clothing they're not deemed to be cool in their little circle of friends. Now I may be wrong, but I think this is having a negative effect on my son who is under so much peer pressure & is starting to develop an attitude. In my younger days this would have been stamped out there and then, I just don't know where to go from here. Posted 17th July 2010
